JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A recent string of break-ins in the city’s South Side has residents on the lookout for suspicious activity.

Three videos caught on a Ring doorbell camera last week show an unidentified individual wearing a hoodie breaking into several cars near Van Buren Street through Barker Street.

It is uncertain if it is the same individual in each video.

The first robbery took place two weeks ago on June 12th. It is reported that personal belongings were stolen out of a car. The next two break-ins were during the early hours of last Saturday, resulting in an undisclosed amount of cash being stolen out of a car.

WNY News Now has reached out to the Jamestown Police Department for comment and are awaiting a response.
