
JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Four are facing multiple charges after drinking in a vehicle revealed drugs and weapons last week.
At around 2:30 a.m. last Friday, officers with the Jamestown Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Main and West 9th Streets.
During investigation officers found one of the four occupants of the vehicle was consuming alcohol.
When trying to give a citation, the alleged drinker, Nicole Grimm, gave officers a fake name. Causing police to take her into custody. Upon searching her person, officers also found a small quantity of Cocaine.
Searching the vehicle resulted in officers locating more drugs on another occupant, Kayla Slagle, and a loaded handgun with an extended magazine inside the car.
Officers took all four occupants into custody, where Dion Carr attempted to conceal Cocaine in the rear seat of the police vehicle to prevent officers from locating it.
All four were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree.
Grimm, Slagle and Carr were also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
Grimm was charged with Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd Degree.
Due to Carr’s attempt to conceal the narcotics, he was also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.
