ERIE, PA (ENN) – Trooper Mark DiSalvatore traveled seven hours to honor his fried.
Disalvatore and Trooper Jacques Rougeau met at the Cadet Academy in June of 2020 and quickly became good friends.
As the body of Rougeau was taken from his hometown of Corry, Pa. to the Bayfront Convention Center, Disalvatore was riding in the rear of the procession.
The Pandemic limited their class to 51 Cadets and it made for a close unit.
Rougeau and DiSalvatore worked together for a short time in the State Police Media Unit.
