FALCONER, NY (WNY News Now) – A local band teacher is being investigated after the Town of Ellicott Police Department were alerted to a suspicious situation involving a juvenile student. 

Upon investigation it was found that Falconer Central School Band Teacher Jeffrey Camp had allegedly sent over 600 text messages to the juvenile student in an attempt to convince the student to meet. 

Camp allegedly also attempted to bring the victim into the school after hours.

A search warrant has been issued by the Town of Ellicott Court and Camp’s cell phone has been seized and is being held as evidence. Further charges are possible.

The police department is working very closely with Falconer School District’s Administration team. 

Camp was located and taken into custody on July 20th where he is currently being held pending arraignment.
