JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Christmas in July in the City of Jamestown has come to an end, we take a look back into the festivities.

The weekend event, sponsored by Collaborative Children’s Solutions kicked off last Thursday with the Gus Macker Kickoff Party, with the free concert featuring Nerds Gone Wild! being postponed.

On Friday, Adults took to the streets in a happy hour scavenger hunt across multiple restaurants and bars.

Saturday, saw the Downtown Jamestown Farmers Market, with the Sun-Dance-Kids Farm Petting Zoo. Ending out the night with the Whirlybird Festival.

The last day came to a head with two games of baseball. Costumed icons, like Santa Clause, the Grinch, and Olaf took to the field where self proclaimed Tarp Skunks biggest fan Vinny Ognibene threw the first pitch.

The night came to a close with a fireworks show.

This year, event organizers wanted to include everyone by setting up a quiet zone for those that have trouble with loud noises.

The Jamestown Tarp Skunks lost both games in the double header sending them to 4th place in their division.

If you at home want to attend one more baseball game before the season is done, we are raffling off four Tarp Skunks Grandstand Tickets. Donated to us by a WNY News Now staff member.

Leave a comment, like, and share the web story or News Now live show to be entered into a drawing for the tickets.

We will select a winner on Wednesday, just in time for their Strike out Cancer Game Night.
