Dunkirk Raid Leads To 10 Arrests

DUNKIRK, NY (WNY News Now) – Investigation into narcotics sales in the City of Dunkirk led to ten individuals facing charges Monday evening.

Narcotics Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and FBI Safe Streets executed a search warrant at 13 Willowbrook Avenue, the second time in the past six months.

Upon entry, investigators discovered ten individuals alongside 5.72 grams of fentanyl, 2.13 grams of methamphetamine, 0.1 grams of crack cocaine, two dosage units of suboxone, scales and packaging materials, a .22 caliber rifle, and $912 dollars in U.S. currency.


All ten were placed under arrest and face a slew of charges.

26-year-old Dakota Cordell and 21-year-old Taylor Austin are facing Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, Criminal Nuisance, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree. With Austin facing an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.

52-year-old Robert Kaczor Sr. was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Tampering with Physical Evidence.



28-year-old Robert Kaczor Jr. and 27-year-old Kathleen Shipley were both charged with Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Criminal Nuisance.

48-year-old Robert Wardell was charged with one count of Criminal Nuisance.

Jodi Messere and Alicia Eppinger were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substancein the 7th degree. 

William and Floyd Tolbert were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.



All ten subjects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department where they were arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.

Authorities continue to ask the public to keep vigilant and report all suspicious or narcotics related activity.
