Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – Jeffrey M. Smith (33) was apprehended by the Jamestown Police Department after violating a stay-away order of protection and making unwanted statements to a female victim.

On August 5, 2023 the Jamestown Police Department responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence on the West side of the city. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Jeffrey Smith had breached a stay away order of protection involving a female victim. Smith had been in close proximity to the victim’s residence and had made unwanted statements to her, which was in direct violation of the court-issued order.

The police apprehended Jeffrey Smith a short distance from the victim’s residence and placed him into custody. He was transported to the Jamestown city jail and is being held pending arraignment.

No matter what happened and who called he kept showing up atmy house he’s been there seven times and yall did something twice……. let him go the next day then he was back in my yard screaming and ranting at me threatening me I couldn’t leave my fucking house I had to have my family come to my place to help me leave and even then he got ahold of me via phone three different accounts on social nothing was done
