Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – The Los Contrincantes Car Club of Jamestown is set to hold its highly anticipated 5th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway event on September 2nd at Lillian Dickson Park, offering local students a generous array of school supplies, haircuts, and community spirit.
In a continued effort to support local students and foster community engagement, the Los Contrincantes Car Club will be hosting their 5th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway event on September 2nd at Lillian Dickson Park, located at the intersection of Falconer Street and Bowen Street in Jamestown.
Last year, the Car Club made a significant impact by donating nearly 400 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for students in the area. This year, they are poised to exceed expectations with an even more comprehensive event. As part of their commitment to the community, the Car Club will provide the first 50 boys who arrive with complimentary haircuts from skilled barbers. Similarly, the first 50 girls in attendance will have the opportunity to receive stylish braids from professional hairstylists.
Attendance at the event is a requirement for students to receive their school supplies, and distribution will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Beyond the educational support, attendees can enjoy an atmosphere of celebration, with music and free food offerings available for all children in attendance.
