Hello everyone. Let me begin by expressing the gratitude that I have for each and every one of our viewers. It is because of you that WNY News Now has been able to progress this far, and I am dedicated to ensuring that we strive to provide the best news coverage that we can for you.
However, in order to do so, we must determine the best way to utilize our time, energy, and resources. Unfortunately, this means ceasing production of our daily live broadcast. The amount of time dedicated to its production will be better utilized with other avenues of news coverage.
It is my intent to use our resources to bring more stories to you, as well as making those stories more engaging and accessible. We will be supplying video reports for each and every post that we publish. In these video reports, I will read the article in its entirety as your anchor. This is so that the viewer will not be forced to read our articles in order to stay informed.
Another action that we plan on taking with this adjustment is to increase our local engagement with the community. Our community is the heart of our operations, and we want to make sure that we are giving you the local coverage that you deserve.
