Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – The 2023 Babe Ruth 13-15 Year Old World Series is taking place at Diethrick Park in Jamestown from August 12th to 19th, marking the nineteenth installment of the event in the city’s history.
The much-anticipated 2023 Babe Ruth 13-15 Year Old World Series is underway at Diethrick Park from August 12th to 19th, continuing a rich tradition that spans over four decades. This year’s event is the nineteenth World Series hosted by Jamestown, with previous tournaments having taken place between 1980 and 2023.
Eight Regional Champions from various corners of the United States, including New England, Middle Atlantic, Ohio Valley, Southeast, Southwest, Mid-West Plains, Pacific Northwest, and Pacific Southwest, descended upon Jamestown. Joining these exceptional teams is the Western New York State Champion and a local Host Team, representing the Jamestown area. Over the course of the week, all participating teams will battle it out in a spirited tournament, with the ultimate Champion set to be crowned on Saturday, August 19th.
