ROCHESTER, NY (WNY News Now) – A man who was convicted of possession of child pornography by an individual with a prior sex offense conviction was sentenced to prison.

Joshua Wormley, 38, of Bath, NY was convicted of possession of child pornography by an individual with a prior sex offense conviction. In July 2017, Wormley was convicted of attempted possession of a sexual performance of a child. In February 2021, Wormley possessed a cell phone containing approximately 800 images and two videos of child pornography. Some of the images and videos depicted prepubescent minors.

Wormley was sentenced to serve 120 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.
