(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after a traffic stop on Rt 430 in Bemus Point, leading to charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, and Speed in Zone.

Bemus Point – On August 19, 2023, at approximately 01:22, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a routine traffic stop on Rt 430 within the Village of Bemus Point. The vehicle’s operator, identified as Savon M. Nagel – Vansickle, was subjected to further investigation, which revealed their state of intoxication.

Consequently, Nagel – Vansickle was arrested and faces charges including DWI and DWI per se, along with the additional charge of speeding in a restricted zone.

Following the arrest, Vansickle was released with appearance tickets in the Town of Ellery Court at a later date.
