(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of August 20, 2023, a 25-year-old male was fatally shot in the 400 block of S Clinton Street in Armory Square.
Syracuse, NY – Syracuse Police Officers on duty in the Armory Square vicinity responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of S Clinton Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 25-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical aid was administered by officers until an AMR ambulance arrived, subsequently transporting the victim to Upstate ER. Regrettably, the victim’s injuries proved fatal.
The Syracuse Police Department’s Detectives Division has initiated a thorough investigation into the incident, working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, with officers actively pursuing leads and evidence.
