Firearms Stolen from Home of Police Officers

(WNY News Now) – Law enforcement officials are responding to the theft of firearms from the residences of two police officers. The Sheriff’s Office has initiated a criminal investigation, while an internal probe is also being conducted by the police department.

Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse Police Department has confirmed that firearms were recently stolen from the homes of two of its police officers. The affected officers have been identified as Officer Nica Pascarella and Officer Emily Pascarella, both currently on full active duty with the department.

In response to the incident, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has taken charge of a criminal investigation into the theft.

Simultaneously, the Syracuse Police Department has launched an internal investigation to ascertain whether any regulations, policies, or protocols were breached in connection with the incident.
