(WNY News Now) – On August 18, 2023, New York State Troopers arrested a man for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, following a motor vehicle accident.
Grand Island, NY – Responding to a crash scene, Troopers observed signs of impairment during an interview with Jason A. Lajoie, 32, of Tonawanda, NY.
A subsequent investigation revealed he had been operating the vehicle under the influence. Subsequently, narcotics were discovered within the car.
Lajoie was taken into custody and later underwent a blood test at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. He was released with appearance tickets for Grand Island court, where he’s scheduled to appear at a later date.
