(WNY News Now) – The Falconer Rotary Club is set to unveil a disc golf course at Falconer Park, funded by a Rotary Foundation grant and Club contributions, without utilizing taxpayer funds.
Falconer, NY – The Falconer Rotary Club is poised to mark a milestone as they prepare to open a brand-new disc golf course in Falconer Park. The project’s financial backing came in part from a Rotary Foundation grant, supplemented by the Club’s own contributions, ensuring that no public tax dollars were invested.
This endeavor stands as the Club’s gift to the Village of Falconer. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, at 6:00 PM, extending an open invitation to the public.
Attendees are encouraged to join in the celebration and festivities following the inauguration.
