(WNY News Now) – Three individuals have been apprehended in connection with a recent burglary incident involving firearms on Central Ave. Ext. in Portland Town, following an investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Portland – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division concluded a probe into an ongoing burglary on July 31, 2023. Robert Kaczor Jr., Tyler Davis, and Matthew Furman were identified as the culprits behind the theft of two firearms. Matthew Furman faces charges including Burglary in the Second Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

In addition, Robert Kaczor Jr. and Tyler Davis have been charged with Burglary in the Second Degree on the grounds of criminal liability for another’s actions. Matthew Furman and Robert Kaczor Jr. were remanded in custody with bail, while Tyler Davis was released on his own recognizance.
