Jamestown Resident Arrested for Obstructing Governmental Administration


(WNY News Now) – A 20-year-old resident of Jamestown, was apprehended after resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration during an altercation on August 22, 2023.

Jamestown – On August 22, officers from The Jamestown Police Department arrived at the intersection of Kipp St and Falconer St. responding to reports of a fight in progress. Officers unsuccessfully attempted to prevent Carlos Villanueva, 20, from engaging in a physical altercation with another individual.

Villanueva resorted to physical force, pushing and pulling away from the officers while even spitting on one. After a brief struggle, officers successfully apprehended Villanueva, charging him with obstructing governmental administration.


He was later released on an appearance ticket after being held at Jamestown City Jail.
