Man Arrested for Public Lewdness and Endangering Children in Jamestown Incident


(WNY News Now) -A Jamestown man has been apprehended by Jamestown authorities on charges of public lewdness and endangering the welfare of children in an incident at 23 W. 3rd St.

Jamestown – In a late-night incident that transpired on August 25, 2023, at 23 W. 3rd St., Kenneth S. Trask, 40, was arrested for committing public lewdness and endangering the welfare of children. Responding to a report at 12:10 am, officers were dispatched to Covenant Manor, where Trask had allegedly exposed himself and engaged in lewd behavior in front of three individuals, two of whom were children.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Trask had exposed his genitals and committed indecent acts. He was taken into custody without resistance and subsequently transported to the city jail. Additionally, Trask was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He now faces multiple charges, including three counts of Public Lewdness 1st, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.


Pending arraignment, Trask remains in custody. Notably, this marks his fourth arrest for public lewdness since January 2023. The case is currently under the jurisdiction of Jamestown City Court.
