(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, police responded to a stabbing incident near Butternut Street and S. Alvord Street, where a 52-year-old man was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Syracuse – At approximately 2:05 A.M. Sunday morning, Syracuse officers were dispatched to Butternut Street and S. Alvord Street following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered an unconscious 52-year-old male victim. Tragically, he was declared deceased at the scene.
Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively pursuing the case and urges anyone with information to contact them at (315) 442-5222. The investigation remains ongoing.
