(WNY News Now) – A 2017 Chevy Malibu collided with a motorcycle, tragically resulting in the death of the motorcyclist according to preliminary investigations.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that Kevin J. Richmond, 41, of Highland Mills, NY, was driving a 2017 Chevy Malibu northbound in the left lane on I-87 when he crossed into the right lane and collided with a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by Nidia N. Nieves, 54, of Ridgewood, NY.
The impact caused Nieves to be ejected from her motorcycle, resulting in fatal injuries. Tragically, Nieves was pronounced deceased at the scene.
