(WNY News Now) – On September 5th, 2023, a 52-year-old resident of Jamestown, was apprehended by Jamestown Police after allegedly assaulting and unlawfully imprisoning a female victim on the city’s West side.
JAMESTOWN – At approximately 1:52 pm, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call. Upon investigation, it was determined that William Hernandez, 52, had forcibly held a female victim to the ground, repeatedly striking her, resulting in facial injuries.
Hernandez was taken into custody and subsequently charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd Degree. He is currently being held in custody, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
