Jamestown Woman Arrested for Endangering Welfare of Children

(WNY News Now) – A 32-year-old Jamestown resident has been taken into custody on charges of second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of children after allegedly throwing a wooden chair from a second-story balcony, injuring a juvenile victim and putting three children at risk.

Jamestown – On September 5, 2023, at approximately 12:51 am, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to an East Side address following a report of an assault. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Jenna Crouch, 32, had hurled a wooden chair from a second-story balcony, striking a juvenile victim and causing injuries. Allegedly this incident unfolded in the presence of two other juvenile victims.

Jenna Crouch was arrested and transported to the City Jail for processing. She now faces charges of second-degree assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of children. Crouch remains in custody, pending her arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
