(WNY News Now) – A fitness center employee received a 2 to 6-year prison sentence today for embezzling $110,312.48.

Erie County – Williamsville resident Sienna D. Foumakoye, 35, received a 2 to 6-year prison sentence today from Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi, announced Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn.

Between September 30, 2020, and October 7, 2022, Foumakoye, a former employee of a Clarence fitness center, embezzled $110,312.48. She illicitly processed credit card refunds meant for customers but diverted the funds into her personal bank account.

On June 28, 2023, Foumakoye pleaded guilty to one count of Grand Larceny in the Second Degree (Class “C” felony) and signed a Confession of Judgment, obligating her to repay the full amount to the victim. As of now, no restitution has been made.
