(WNY News Now) – A 65-year-old resident of Mayville, NY, faces charges of harassment following an incident on September 5th, 2023, where she allegedly approached a resident at the Portage Hill Apartment and physically assaulted them.
Mayville – On the morning of September 5th, 2023, at approximately 9:00 am, Barb A. Nelson, a 65-year-old Mayville resident, is accused of approaching a fellow resident at the Portage Hill Apartment complex in Mayville. According to witnesses, Nelson allegedly made multiple threats before striking the victim in the face.
Nelson was promptly located and subsequently issued an appearance ticket, charging her with Harassment in the 2nd degree. She is now scheduled to appear in the Village of Mayville Court at a later date to address these allegations.
