(WNY News Now) – A 37-year-old male from Jamestown, NY, was apprehended by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Fluvanna Ave for alleged Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Jamestown – At approximately 02:21 am, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Fluvanna Ave within the City of Jamestown. During the stop, the driver, Hector J. Montanez, 37, of Jamestown was identified, and subsequent investigations led to suspicions of Montanez operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Consequently, Montanez was taken into custody and charged with DWI, DWI per se, and having inadequate lights on the vehicle. Following his arrest, Montanez was released with tickets and is expected to appear in the Jamestown City Court at a later date.
