Woman Arrested on Bench Warrant and Resisting Arrest Charges

(WNY News Now) – A 34-year-old woman was apprehended by police officers on the west side of Jamestown at 1:09 am on 09/11/2023, as she allegedly attempted to evade arrest for an outstanding warrant.

Jamestown – Police officers from the Third Platoon encountered Christina T Heiler, 34, on the porch of a west side residence in Jamestown during the early hours of September 11, 2023. Ms. Heiler, who was the subject of a bench warrant, allegedly made an attempt to flee into the residence to avoid apprehension.

A brief struggle ensued at the doorway of the residence, resulting in Ms. Heiler’s eventual detainment by law enforcement. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is currently held pending arraignment.


Ms. Heiler faces charges of resisting arrest, stemming from her attempt to evade the police, as well as the initial bench warrant.
