
JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – The Jamestown Red Raiders defeated Williamsville East 35-6 in Thursday evening high school football action.
After jumping out to a 21-0 lead at halftime, the Raiders added a couple more touchdowns in the second half to pad their lead. Williamsville finally got on the board with a touchdown late in the 4th quarter.
With the victory, Jamestown remains undefeated with a record of 3-0 overall and 1-0 in Section 6 class AA league play.
Jamestown will return home next Friday September 22nd, at Strider Field. They will host Frontier in class AA league play.
All Jamestown Red Raider home games at Strider Field are free to attend. However, students in elementary and middle schools are required to be accompanied by an adult for entry.
In other Jamestown high school football action, the Jamestown JV football team defeated Williamsville East JV’s Wednesday night 56-34. The Jamestown JV team also has a record of 3-0.
