
JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – The Jamestown Red Raider high school football team will face Frontier on Friday, September 22nd at Strider Field at 7PM.
Jamestown comes into the game undefeated, with a record of 3-0 overall and 1-0 in Section 6 class AA league play. Frontier has yet to win a game with a record of 0-3.
Jamestown is tied with Lancaster and Bennett for first place in class AA, all with a record of 3-0.
The Raiders are coming off a 35-6 week 2 victory over Williamsville East. Meanwhile, Frontier lost their game 35-0 last week to Lancaster.
Earlier this week a well known local youth sports coach, Thomas Fisher, passed away at the age of 68. In his memory, fans who will be attending the game on Friday are asked to wear blue. Fisher was a inspiration to the community as well as the youth he coached.
As always, all Jamestown Red Raider games are free to attend.
