(WNY News Now) – On Sunday, September 24th, 2023, Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a reported stabbing incident at 2003 East Fayette Street, coinciding with a walk-in stabbing victim arriving at University Hospital’s emergency room.
Uniformed members of the Syracuse Police Department were dispatched to 2003 East Fayette Street on Sunday, September 24th, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m. following reports of a stabbing. Simultaneously, University Hospital staff contacted 911 to report a walk-in stabbing victim seeking medical attention.
Upon their arrival at the hospital’s emergency room, police officers discovered a 27-year-old female victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds to the torso. Initially, the victim’s condition was listed as critical. However, due to prompt medical intervention, her condition stabilized, and she is currently in stable condition.
