(WNY News Now) – The Buffalo Central Terminal invites the community to celebrate the beauty of autumn with a lineup of family-friendly events in October, including a “Fall Clean-Up,” “Oktoberfest,” and “Trunk-or-Treat.”
Buffalo – Buffalo Central Terminal is set to host a series of family-friendly events throughout October, offering diverse entertainment for the community.
On Saturday, October 14th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, the “Fall Clean-Up” event will bring together volunteers from the Buffalo Central Terminal, Matt Urban Center, and Central Terminal Neighborhood Association for a community cleanup. A pizza lunch will follow, courtesy of the Buffalo Central Terminal.
Buffalo Central Terminal’s “Oktoberfest,” a family-favorite in Western New York, will take place on Sunday, October 22nd, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event promises live music, Bill’s watch party, a petting farm, pumpkin decorating, hayrides, beer & wine vendors, and more.
On Tuesday, October 24th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Matt Urban Center will host “Trunk or Treat” at Buffalo Central Terminal, offering safe and family-friendly Halloween celebrations. Activities on the Terminal Lawn will include face painting, mask making, cider, and doughnuts. In case of rain, October 25th is the designated rain date.
Lindsey Taylor, events consultant for the Buffalo Central Terminal, emphasized the importance of these events in fostering community unity, saying, “We’re creating an inclusive space right in our very own neighborhood where families can come together and celebrate the season without having to venture out of the heart of the city.”
