
(WNY News Now) – Three men have been arrested and charged with the possession of a US Postal Service key and theft of mail, announced U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross today. If convicted, they could face a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Rochester – Legend Terrance Davis, 20, and Nathan Romar Arnold, 23, both from Rochester, NY, along with Blake Montel Crayon, 27, from Willoughby, OH, arrests stem from an ongoing investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in Rochester.
The investigation has been probing a series of mailbox key thefts since January 2023. On October 2, 2023, Postal Inspectors responded to a report of a tampered USPS collection box near the Brighton Station Post Office. En route, they spotted two individuals allegedly matching previous robbery suspects’ descriptions walking toward the Greece Post Office on Latta Road.
Subsequently, three collection boxes at the Jefferson Road Post Office were targeted, leading to the apprehension of Davis, Arnold, and Crayon following a brief chase.
