DWI Investigation Leads to Arrest of Jamestown Woman

(WNY News Now) – A 27-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, faces multiple charges, including Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), following a traffic stop on Winsor St on 10/9/23 at 1:05 AM.

Jamestown – In the early hours of October 9, 2023, Jamestown Police Department officers conducted a routine traffic stop on Winsor St after noticing a vehicle operating without headlights. During the ensuing investigation, it was determined that the driver, identified as Kayla E. Clark, was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated.


Clark, aged 27, was taken into custody and processed at the Jamestown City Jail. She was subsequently released with traffic tickets, including charges for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st, DWI, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, No/Inadequate Lights, and Uninspected Motor Vehicle.

The case is scheduled to be heard in Jamestown City Court. Clark was released with an appearance ticket, pending further legal proceedings.
