(WNY News Now) – A 48-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, is in federal custody following a multi-agency drug raid at his home on Myers St. A significant quantity of illicit substances, firearms, and cash were seized during the operation.
Jamestown – On the morning of October 11, 2023, a collaborative effort involving the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, and the DEA culminated in the execution of a search warrant at 15 Myers St., Jamestown. The operation was supported by the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team, ensuring a safe entry into the residence, which also housed a child.
During the search, law enforcement discovered 2 pistols, .45 caliber ammunition, 74.1 grams of powder cocaine, 13.1 grams of fentanyl, 12.3 grams of crack cocaine, 81.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 2,908 grams of marijuana, along with scales, packaging materials, and a substantial sum of U.S. currency.
Following the operation, Ameir A. Glover was taken into custody after leaving the residence. He was subsequently arrested during a traffic stop. Glover is now being held on federal charges, with an arraignment scheduled in the Western District of New York – United States District Court at a later date.
