Jamestown Faces Another Tough Test Friday Night

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) –  The Jamestown Red Raiders undefeated record ended last week with a tough loss to Lancaster. They now have another tough task ahead of them when they face Bennett, Friday night at Strider Field.

The Red Raiders are coming off a 41-21 defeat at the hands of Lancaster last week. Meanwhile, Bennett cruised by Frontier in their game, 48-7.

Bennett’s record is 6-0, good for first place in section 6 class AA. Jamestown is tied for second place with Lancaster, both with a record of 5-1.

This will be the Raiders last regular season home game as they finish up the regular season next week at Orchard Park.

Regarding entry to the game Friday night, Jamestown Public Schools will be testing a weapons detection system at the main entrance of Strider Field.

Fans will enter through the detection system so it is recommended that fans arrive early to allow for additional entry time.

All elementary and middle school students are also required to be accompanied and supervised by an adult for entry into the game.
