(WNY News Now) – On October 16, 2023, at 12:40 am, the Jamestown Fire Department swiftly brought a house fire under control in under 15 minutes at 62 Water St, Jamestown.
Jamestown – In the early hours of October 16, 2023, a fire broke out at 62 Water St, Jamestown, NY. The Jamestown Fire Department responded promptly, successfully containing the fire within just 15 minutes.
Following the incident, the Jamestown Fire Investigation Team was called in to ascertain the fire’s cause and origin. Their investigation revealed that the fire originated in a second-floor bathroom ceiling fan/light fixture due to a faulty fan unit. This fire has been officially classified as accidental in nature.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries and no residents were displaced as a result of this incident.
