(WNY News Now) – On October 11, 2023, the Ellicott Police Department responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Ellicott, resulting in the arrest of 42-year-old man for violating a stay-away order of protection.

Ellicott – On the evening of October 11, 2023, the Ellicott Police Department was called to a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Ellicott. Subsequent investigation revealed that Walter M. Westerdahl, aged 42, was allegedly in breach of a stay-away order of protection.

Westerdahl was taken into custody by law enforcement officials and subsequently remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
