JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – The Jamestown Red Raiders finished their 2023 high school football regular season with a 21-7 victory over long time rival Orchard Park Friday evening.

Jamestown went into the half with a 14-0 lead, giving up their only score of the game to Orchard Park in the 3rd quarter.

With the win, Jamestown will finish the regular season in 3rd place with a record of 6-2 (4-2 in league play). Orchard Park will finish with a record of 5-3 (3-3 in league play).

In terms of playoff seeding, Bennett and Lancaster are the Section 6 Class AA number 1 and number 2 seeds, respectively.

Jamestown will end up as the number 3 seed with Orchard Park as the  number 4 seed.

The full playoff schedule for the first round will be announced early next week.
