JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – The Jamestown Red Raiders high school varsity football team will begin their quest to a section 6 class AA title with a home playoff game on Friday night.

Jamestown will host Niagara Falls at Strider Field with kickoff scheduled for 7PM.

The first time these two teams saw each other was in week two when Jamestown played at Niagara Falls. Jamestown defeated Niagara Falls in that matchup by a score of 35-6.

The Raiders finished their regular season off with a record of 6-2 overall and 4-2 in league play, good for the #3 overall seed.

The Wolverines finished their season with a record of 2-6 overall and 1-5 in league play, earning the #6 seed.

The winner of the Jamestown/Niagara Falls game will move on to face the winner of the Lancaster/Hutch Tech game next week. That quarterfinal game will also be taken place Friday evening at Lancaster.
