
(WNY News Now) – A 39-year-old female from Derby, NY, was arrested on October 24, 2023, for Aggravated DWI with a BAC above .18% and other charges after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a vehicle complaint at Burger King.
Derby – On the evening of October 24, 2023, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to a potential intoxicated driver at a local Burger King. The suspect vehicle had been witnessed leaving the establishment’s parking lot without using a turning signal and merging onto Route 5 and 20, posing a danger to other motorists.
Subsequently, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop, during which they identified the driver as 39-year-old Jenny L. Bish, a resident of Derby. An investigation revealed that Ms. Bish was allegedly operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeding .18%.
Following the discovery, Jenny L. Bish was taken into custody by authorities. She was later released with tickets, pending an appearance in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date to face the charges against her. These charges include Aggravated DWI with a BAC exceeding .18%, standard DWI, and improper or no signal usage while driving.
