Jamestown – On the morning of October 30th, 2023, at 10:09 AM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported vehicle complaint on the East Side of the city. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement found 25-year-old Dale R. Linkous, a resident of Jamestown, NY, sound asleep inside the running vehicle in question. Further investigation revealed that Linkous had an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Jamestown.

Authorities soon discovered that Linkous had a revoked driving license and was mandated to have an Ignition Interlock System installed in his vehicle. Upon arrival at the city jail, a search of Linkous allegedly revealed a significant quantity of Fentanyl and Methamphetamines in his possession, as well as a small amount of Cocaine found inside the vehicle during the arrest procedure. These additional findings led to Linkous being charged with multiple offenses, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock System.

As of the latest update, Dale R. Linkous is currently being held pending arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.
