
(WNY News Now) – A 73-year-old Great Valley man was arrested on October 31, 2023, for forgery in the third degree, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person in the first degree, and criminal possession of a forged instrument, following an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau.
Great Valley – Joseph E. La Bruna, a 73-year-old resident of Great Valley, NY, was arrested on the morning of October 31, 2023. The arrest came after an extensive investigation conducted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau.
La Bruna stands accused of a series of serious charges, including forgery in the third degree, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person in the first degree, and criminal possession of a forged instrument. The charges stem from actions that allegedly took place at 10:00 am in the Town of Great Valley.
Following his arrest, Joseph E. La Bruna was processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and later arraigned at the Town of Great Valley Court before the Honorable Judge Stokes. He was released on his own recognizance, pending a future appearance at the Great Valley Court.
