(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Poland on November 4, 2023, around 4:04 PM, where they apprehended a 39-year-old female from Kennedy, NY, who was found unlawfully inside the residence.
Town of Poland – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence in the Town of Poland on November 4, 2023, at approximately 4:04 PM. Upon their arrival, they discovered Amanda J. Mecca, a 39-year-old female resident of Kennedy, NY, inside the home without authorization.
Following an investigation, it was alleged that Mecca had unlawfully remained inside the residence. When deputies attempted to take her into custody, she resisted arrest, though she was eventually apprehended without further incident.
Amanda J. Mecca now faces charges of Criminal Trespass in the 2nd degree and resisting arrest. She has been transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where she will await a CAP arraignment. Mecca is expected in the Poland Town Court at a later date.
