Shooting Incident Leaves Man in Critical Condition

(WNY News Now) – On November 4, 2023, at approximately 4:16 p.m., Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 412 Union Place, the Union Place Market, where they found a 38-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. 

Syracuse – On Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 4:16 p.m., officers from the Syracuse Police Department swiftly responded to a shooting incident at the Union Place Market located at 412 Union Place. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a 38-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. The injured individual was promptly transported to University Hospital by ambulance, where he remains in critical condition.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Union Place and North Townsend Street. The investigation is currently active and ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
