WNY NEWS NOW – The Clymer/Sherman/Panama high school football team are the New York State Class D section 6 champions. 

CSP defeated Wilson 38-12 Thursday evening at Highmark Stadium. Including the playoffs, the Clymer/Sherman/Panama’s record stands at 10-0 on the season.

This is CSP’s first Class D championship since 2019.

With the section 6 title under their belt, Clymer/Sherman/Panama will advanced to the Far West Regionals next week. They will face the champion of section 5.

In the other section 6 game on Thursday, Clarence defeated Lockport 43-16 to claim the Class A title.

Friday’s title games will include:

Class C: #1 Medina Vs. #2 Salamanca 1PM

Class B: #1 Pioneer Vs. #3 Health Sciences/BASC/Charter 415PM

Class AA: #1 Bennett Vs. #2 Lancaster 730PM

All games are at Highmark Stadium.
