(WNY News Now) – A reported altercation in the Town of Pomfret resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old Portland man who now faces charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree.
Pomfret – On November 15, 2023, at approximately 3:53 PM, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the Town of Portland following reports of an altercation that had taken place in the Town of Pomfret. Upon investigation, it was determined that Kody C. Cambria, a 25-year-old resident of Portland, had allegedly physically assaulted another individual and caused damage to property not belonging to him.
Cambria was subsequently arrested and charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has not disclosed the identities of the other involved parties.
Following his arrest, Cambria was transported to Mayville for an arraignment.
