WNY NEWS NOW – The Clymer/Sherman/Panama high school football team are on their way to the NYSPHSAA class D high school football semifinals.
On Friday evening, the CSP Wolfpack defeated Section V champion Canisteo-Greenwood, 50-16 in the Far West Regionals.
The win advances them to the state semifinals on November 24th against section IV’s Tioga.
Tioga is the #1 ranked team in class D while Clymer/Sherman/Panama is the #2 ranked class D team in New York State.
Rankings are from the New York State Sportswriters Association.
Both teams are undefeated this season.
The winner of the semifinals will advance to the NYSPHSAA Championships on December 2 at Syracuse University.
