Jamestown Woman Faces Drug Charges and Outstanding Warrants

(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old Jamestown resident, has been apprehended by the Jamestown Police Department on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, alongside existing warrants from both the City of Jamestown and the Town of Ellicott Courts.

Jamestown – In the early hours of November 21, 2023, at 3:17 am, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon encountered Ms. Rebecca A. Johnson in the vicinity of Garfield St. and Maple St. The officers, aware of her outstanding warrants, took Johnson into custody without incident.

During the arrest, a search revealed a small quantity of Cocaine in Johnson’s possession. Following protocol, the 33-year-old was then transported to the city jail, where she is being held pending arraignment. In addition to the existing warrants, Johnson now faces an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

  1. Grow up! Drug addiction is nothing to laugh about. Catch and release is a common practice to get to the source!
    You should be arrested for pornographic, offensive, and criminal behavior because you don’t talk like that around children…..
