(WNY News Now) – A Franklinville man has been sentenced to three years’ probation following convictions for one count of Assault in the Third Degree and one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

Franklinville – Devon Sweet, a resident of Franklinville, New York, has been handed a three-year probationary sentence for his involvement in an incident on or about March 18, 2023, in the town of Yorkshire. Sweet faced convictions on one count of Assault in the Third Degree and one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. The incident involved Sweet intentionally causing injury to another person.
