(WNY News Now) – In an effort to help our furry friends find their fur-ever home, WNY News Now has partnered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society for a segment we like to call pet of the week. This week’s pet of the week is Misty.
“Hello, here we are at the Chautauqua County Humane Society for Western New York News Now segment, and this little love bug is Misty. Misty’s about a year old,
and she is not huge about being picked up, but she loves to be in your lap, although right now she’s not showing that. There, she is available here at the Chautauqua County Humane Society.”
“And as you know, if you’ve watched this segment before, she has been spayed, she is up to date on her vaccinations, she has on my car chip, and a little bit of flea treatment. And also, today is a big deal here at the Chautauqua County Humane Society because we have our season of hope adoption drive kicking off today, till December 23rd. And with that, all the adoption fees are being waived on the animals being adopted.”
“So, stop on down today at the shelter, we’re open 1:00 to 5:30 tomorrow, 11:00 to 3:00. And tomorrow we have our special small business Saturday celebration happening from 10:00 to 6:00 at our second chances thrift store, 707 Fairmont Avenue across from Runnings. So, find out more, find out everything, come adopt chqhumane.org. Again, the adoption fees are waived, but the processes remain the same for adoptions.”
